Johalla Projects curated and installed the permanent art collection within 167 Green, located in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. This multi-use building spans 645,000 square feet and Johalla Projects collaborated with Shapack, Focus, and Gensler to conceptualize the intention behind the art collection.

Johalla Projects focused on Chicago-based artists with an emphasis on voices from a range of cultures, races, genders, and backgrounds.

The collection also includes a historic throughline with vintage lithographs of Alexander Calder’s Braniff Airlines posters from the 1970s

Blending vintage with contemporary, European with American, harmonizes the collection with the architecture’s cohesive mix of modern design and contemporary style.
